Blue Shades Motel is currently undergoing a massive transformation. Our spacious, comfortable Standard rooms will soon be refreshingly modernised with beautiful new bath rooms, lovely new carpets, lighting, desks and cabinetry new bedroom setting and side tables. A new commercial kitchen is going in to the Restaurant, with a delicious new Menu being planned right now. Our friendly welcome will continue in our soon to be reveal new Reception area. Exciting times!

Until completion we have no Standard or ground floor rooms available, and there are no meals available on site, however we do have some business and executive rooms and a pool room available for you. Also available are Breakfast packs and Dinner meals can be delivered to your room ordered from The Lamington Hotel Bistro across the road and Corporate chargeback is available.

The Conference room is also having a facelift so is out of action.

Our current entry to the Motel is via FERRY LANE during the renovation.

So when heading North on Ferry Street, from Gympie for example, cross the Lamington Bridge, second right into Queen Street, then first left into Ferry Lane where you will see signs into the driveway.

When heading South on Ferry street you will see the motel on the corner of Ferry and Queen Street. Turn left into Queen Street, then left into FERRY LANE where you will see signs into the driveway.

Drive up to the end, where the pool is and press the bell for service, or phone 41222777 on arrival for check-in.

Things should be all in place by the 27th November at this stage. The our fantastic new rooms will be revealed!!!

Queensland Chassis Dyno will be @ The Maryborough Speedway on Saturday the 12th Of August. Trophies for Highest Horsepower Registered, Highest Horsepower Unregistered, Lowest Horsepower, and Closest Guess Horsepower. $60 Three Runs and Printout. EFTPOS or Cash, Pay on the day.
